Sir Keir Starmer is expected to urge partner nations to provide Ukraine with further advanced missile systems to strike Russian targets during discussions in London on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir is set to welcome President Zelensky alongside referred to as "group of committed partners", comprising more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have committed to provide Ukraine defense assurances once hostilities pause is arranged.

Zelensky has been urging for an extended period for additional advanced missile technology from allied countries, a move that Moscow has warned would escalate the war.

Ukraine's leader is coming from Belgium, where he held talks with European Union officials on Thursday requesting economic assistance.

"The only person engaged in current hostilities who refuses to end the conflict is Vladimir Putin," the Prime Minister stated.

Britain's leader furthermore reveal that a hundred extra anti-aircraft missiles will be provided to Ukrainian forces ahead of schedule, as outlined in a £1.6bn deal reached between Britain and the Ukrainian government in last spring.

Diplomatic Momentum

Ukraine's leader comes off the back of significant diplomatic successes in recent days: Donald Trump's decision to enact new measures against the Russian government, and European countries deciding to support Ukraine's financial gap.

The Prime Minister is hoping to maintain the forward movement by intensifying the influence on the Kremlin to negotiate an end to the war.

Britain's leader will press participants to increase the provision of extended-range systems following a productive strike on an industrial facility in the Bryansk region, Russia, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

"And his horrific attacks on young children in a nursery this week make that abundantly clear," he added.

Several minors were part of at least seven killed in a wave of enemy assaults on Ukraine, which struck a preschool facility in the major urban center Kharkiv.

Economic Talks

The Prime Minister will discuss with partner nations on how to withdraw Russia's petroleum resources off the global market.

The participants will also consider employing blocked Russian resources to supply Kyiv with monetary support, while the proposal experienced insufficient agreement and regulatory obstacles at the Brussels summit on the previous day.

European Union opted against agreeing to a proposal to use as much as €140 billion in blocked Moscow funds to financially prop up Ukraine.

However, the delegates agreed to assist with the country's "economic requirements" for the next two years.

America also revealed measures on recently against Russia's two largest energy corporations, Rosneft and Lukoil, as part of efforts to increase financial pressure on Moscow to enter ceasefire negotiations.

Russia began its full-scale invasion of the country in February 2022. The invading forces currently controls about one-fifth of Ukrainian territory, encompassing the southern Crimea peninsular Russia annexed in several years ago.
